When a wedding brings family and friends to Orlando, it is rarely a single evening. Guests fly in from other cities, check into hotels, and spend several days moving between a rehearsal dinner, a ceremony, a reception, a brunch and whatever the family has planned around them. Most hosts think about transportation as the bus that runs from the ceremony to the reception. The better question is what it would mean to have the whole stay covered, from the moment guests land to the moment they fly home.
Arrival Day: From the Airport to the Hotel
Group the arrivals by flight and send a coach to meet them. Instead of waiting in line at the rental-car counter and then hunting for the hotel on an unfamiliar highway, guests are met at arrivals, their bags are stowed in the luggage bay, and everyone reaches the hotel together. For older relatives, or anyone traveling from abroad, that first hour sets the tone for the whole trip.
The Days of the Event
A wedding rarely happens in one place. Whether you are planning a church wedding, a nikah, an Anand Karaj at the gurdwara, a ceremony at the mandir or a celebration from any other tradition, the reception is often in a ballroom across town. And if there is a baraat, the groom's family and friends, sometimes coming from another city, need to be gathered and ready before the procession sets off. The trip ends the way it began: guests checked out, luggage loaded, and the group dropped at the terminal with time to spare, instead of scattered rental returns and last-minute rides.
What It Saves
- Parking. Hotel and resort parking in Orlando is often charged per night, and venues may charge again. A coach parks once.
- Rental cars and fuel. Several guests renting cars for the same few days means several rentals, several tanks of gas and several return trips to the airport.
- Tolls. Many of the fastest routes around Orlando and the airport are toll roads, and each rental car pays its own tolls, often with a daily toll-program fee on top.
- Getting lost. Out-of-town guests on unfamiliar roads, at night, are how a schedule falls apart.
- A possible DUI. This is the one that cannot be undone. In Florida, a DUI can bring fines, a suspended license and even jail time, and the human cost of an accident is beyond any price. With a coach, no guest has to get behind the wheel.
Weighed against all of that, shuttling your guests for the whole stay is definitely worth considering.

Cuando una boda reúne a familiares y amigos en Orlando, rara vez se trata de una sola noche. Los invitados llegan en avión desde otras ciudades, se hospedan en hoteles y pasan varios días yendo y viniendo entre una cena de ensayo, una ceremonia, una recepción, un brunch y todo lo que la familia haya organizado en torno a la boda. El viaje termina como empezó: los invitados ya han dejado el hotel, el equipaje está cargado y el grupo llega a la terminal con tiempo de sobra, en lugar de que cada quien devuelva su auto de alquiler por su lado y busque transporte a última hora.
Lo que se ahorra
- Estacionamiento. En Orlando, el estacionamiento de hoteles y resorts suele cobrarse por noche, y los salones pueden cobrarlo otra vez. Un autobús se estaciona una sola vez.
- Autos de alquiler y gasolina. Si varios invitados alquilan autos para los mismos días, son varios alquileres, varios tanques de gasolina y varios viajes al aeropuerto para devolverlos.
- Peajes. Muchas de las rutas más rápidas alrededor de Orlando y del aeropuerto son autopistas de peaje, y cada auto de alquiler paga sus propios peajes, a menudo con una tarifa diaria del programa de peajes.
- Perderse. Basta con que invitados de otras ciudades manejen de noche por carreteras que no conocen para que el itinerario se venga abajo.
- Un posible DUI. Es lo único que no tiene vuelta atrás. En Florida, una condena por manejar bajo los efectos del alcohol (DUI) puede acarrear multas, la suspensión de la licencia e incluso cárcel, y el costo humano de un accidente no se puede medir en dinero. Con un autobús, nadie tiene que preguntarse si está en condiciones de manejar.
Frente a todo eso, sin duda vale la pena considerar el traslado de sus invitados durante toda la estadía.

Hoy todos llevamos una cámara. Saber oprimir el botón no es lo mismo que saber dónde debe caer la luz, cómo encuadrar un momento o en qué instante va a ocurrir. Si va a asistir a una boda, vale la pena prepararse un poco.
